A mock should reveal something useful
A full paper is not just a collection of twenty questions. The order, density and timing change how those questions behave. A method that feels secure in isolation may become unreliable after fifty minutes of sustained concentration.
Euclid papers are intended to test the whole performance: recognition, mathematical control, question selection and the ability to recover when an approach stops working.

Each block represents the average 3 minutes 45 seconds available per question. Real questions vary, so the useful skill is recognising when extra time is producing progress and when it is only consuming the paper.
What is inside a Euclid set?
Each complete set contains one Paper 1 and one Paper 2. Every paper contains twenty multiple-choice questions and is designed to be attempted in 75 minutes. The accompanying solutions are written to show the useful observation, the efficient route and the point at which tempting alternatives fail.
Complete the paper without interruptions or outside help.
Record the result before reading any solution.
Separate knowledge gaps from poor decisions and rushed errors.
Return to the questions until the better route is recognisable.
Paper 1 and Paper 2 need different attention
Questions reward fluent algebra, clear modelling and the ability to reframe unfamiliar situations using familiar mathematics.
Questions add logic, proof and the analysis of arguments. A statement can look convincing while failing for one precise reason.
Solutions should teach judgement
A correct solution can still be unhelpful if it starts with an observation you would never make under time pressure. Our aim is to explain what should trigger the method, why that route is economical and what a strong student might incorrectly do instead.
How we describe difficulty
No independent publisher can verify unpublished live questions. We therefore do not claim access to recent test content. Calibration is based on the official specification, released material, full-paper timing and internal review. Difficulty labels describe the demands of our own papers rather than pretending to reproduce a secret test form.
