International candidates use the same UAT-UK account and Pearson booking process. Book early, check the identification policy for the country of the centre and use UK time for published deadlines.

The international booking route
Confirm that the exact programme requires or accepts TMUA.
Use the same legal name shown on the ID you will present.
Add the test card after any access request has been reviewed.
Book the available Pearson appointment that works for your location.
Test-centre availability is visible during Pearson booking. UAT-UK advises candidates to book early because preferred dates, times and locations are not guaranteed. Candidates outside the UK may need to travel further within their country.
The fee follows the centre
This fee applies according to the test-centre location, not the candidate's nationality.
UAT-UK publishes this as the overseas test fee for the 2027-entry cycle.
The UAT-UK bursary is limited to candidates who live permanently in the UK and plan to take the test at a UK centre. It covers the test fee but not travel or other expenses.
Dates and regional restrictions
The first test window runs from 12 to 16 October 2026. The later window runs from 4 to 8 January 2027 where course rules permit it.
TMUA is offered on 15–16 October 2026 and 8 January 2027 under the published security arrangements.
Booking and support deadlines are stated in BST or GMT. Do not treat 6pm UK time as 6pm in the centre's local time zone.
Most Oxford and Cambridge applicants must use October. Applicants to other participating institutions can normally choose October or January, subject to the precise course rule.
Identification depends on location
An original, valid passport is accepted at any test centre under the current policy.
A full or provisional photo-card licence is accepted in the country that issued it.
Accepted at centres within the EU, but not at a UK centre merely because it is an EU document.
Accepted according to the location rules in the current admission and ID policy.
Results and UCAS matching
Results are released through the UAT-UK account. The scheduled dates are 16 November 2026 for the October sitting and 8 February 2027 for the January sitting.
UAT-UK automatically passes a result to participating institutions and relevant courses included in the candidate's UCAS application. International candidates do not follow a separate score-submission process. Personal details should match the UCAS application; a UCAS Personal ID can be added after account creation if it is not yet available.
The separate TMUA results guide explains course-by-course sharing and what appears in the account.
