What appears in the result?
UAT-UK reports a single result for the test rather than separate application scores for Paper 1 and Paper 2.
The result is reported to one decimal place so different forms and sittings can be placed on a unified scale.
UAT-UK does not define a TMUA pass or fail. Universities use the score with the rest of the application.

Which universities receive it?
The result is linked to the personal details used during registration.
Several supplied data points are used to connect the result to the application.
Sharing is performed course by course for participating institutions.
A relevant TMUA course receives it automatically.
If the chosen course does not use TMUA, UAT-UK states that the result is not passed to that course merely because the institution uses TMUA elsewhere.
UCAS Personal ID and matching
A UCAS Personal ID is not required when the UAT-UK account is first created. It can be added later. UAT-UK says it also uses other personal details supplied at booking because matching through several data points is more reliable.
Use the same legal name and personal information across the UAT-UK account, identification and UCAS application. If any information changes, correct it through the appropriate account rather than waiting until results day.
Can an old result be reused?
No. UAT-UK requires candidates to sit the test in the admissions cycle in which they apply. A score from a previous cycle is not made available to institutions considering a new application.
October and January are also not two attempts. They belong to one cycle, and a candidate can sit TMUA only once within it. The October versus January guide explains the sitting rules.
